I know it looks like I’ve been posting, but I haven’t really. Each of the three previous new posts here have had their individual purpose, all dealing with figuring out certain aspects of WordPress and how the things works. Now that I’ve accomplished the importation of my old blogger posts, I’ve got the next two big tasks ahead of me that should really keep me busy through to the New Year.
1. Edit and restore each and every post (570 of ‘em). Mainly the missing or now oversized pictures, and the haloscan comments. Unless you guys really like haloscan and want it back. Me I’m looking for comment editing plugins for you–that I’m sure you’ve seen on other sites–that make it easier for you to leave links and things.
2. Figuring out how to set up pages for all the old crew in the data base so they each have their own individual blogs on subdomains of Mccs1977.
In the mean time you can visit with an old friend of the family. Or check out the new kid I stumbled on the other day. I’ll be back with my New Years Resolutions.

Good luck with all that editing work. I thought manually importing my old posts into blogger, but I’m just too lazy.
Okay, so you’re here now? Blogger’s latest: if you upgrade to beta, it’s impossible for non-beta users to post. Ugh.

Good Luck Fred. I still have to go through about 900 posts from my days of blogger prior to my switch to movable type.
Same issue, images too big, not displaying, formating fucked up etc.
Probably take the time to finally correct all the spelling and grammar errors too…we’ll see…
PS – are you going to stick with this blog banner? Do you want me to change it on my blog? I still have the old one in my sidebar..
