Ready at a moments notice

-’cause I’m going to Talibama, with a laptop on my knee…

Or at least, I was…

I was suppose to take off for Alabama to participate in a 6 week course for the National Guard today, but the orders were screwed up and I’m waiting for them to be amended. If they don’t get fixed by midday tomorrow, I probably wont be going. Kinda sucks, it was going to be an interesting school.

So, I apologize if I haven’t been around your way lately. I appreciate the comments and the traffic in my semi-absence the last few days, and I will be by soon.

Well, your loss is our gain.

Don’t bother. I heard this morning that they gave up and left. Decided Alabama was a mistake from the beginning and just packed up and left.

I have been to Alabama a number of times, including Fort McClellan (played golf at the course there).

I have a recommendation. Whatever your current time zone, if you want to be in local time when you arrive, turn your watch back sixty years.

Cool song. When comparing “supergroups”, I think they’re much more interesting musically than Audioslave. Plus, I was always a big STP fan and I love the DeLeo’s musical harmonies.

You are so brave to go off for services in Alabama. I agree with PeaceMary that it is our gain! How are you doing? How were the holiday and all? You survived, which is more than some can say given a whole day of family without alcohol.

All I can say is…at least I showed up, unlike others.
