CNN’s Youtube Debate

Edwards & Dodd respectively on…

Hair:

Hare:

CNN’s Jack Cafferty’s post debate question: Is Dennis Kucinich right that the Congress should end the Iraq war by not funding it?

My response (didn’t make the air…):

Representative Kucinich is absolutely right. The Democrats have failed in their mission to end the Iraq War and have used the issue as nothing but political theater for the run-up to the 2008 election year, last week’s weak kneed confrontation of the Republican filibuster is case in point.

No splitting hair’s…the moment of the night:

I think I have now reached the point that I cannot help agree with dropping all funding for the war. It is their constitutional responsibility and was purposely created as such by the founders. As we used to say in the Navy “Cut his water off to a drip!”

  2. I’m glad I wasn’t in the audience last night. I would have gone ballistic when the candy dates hemmed and hawed about pulling the troops out.

  3. Frederick says:

Bill Richardson didn’t hemm nor haw. He’s just about the only one who’s said, “no residual forces.”

  4. Why, they “beat around the bush” more than gw & company! ; (

  5. raffi says:

with the money tree… ehhem… i mean, bush gone, funding will definitely be compromised in a positive way meaning before more die.

  6. sumo says:

I was impressed with what Gravel said. Too bad the whole country doesn’t say it.

  7. JollyRoger says:

It’s hard not to despise the entire CONgressional leadership.

That’s why I gave up trying to not despise them. The hell with those bums.

  8. graeme says:

why are the “crazy” ones the only ones that make sense?

  9. Atticus says:

What bothered me was how Clinton distanced herself from the term “liberal”. Not for nothing but this country and the ideals that founded her are straight up liberal. Simply because a group of assclowns have dirtied the word she…ran. I REALLY don’t like her now.

  10. gravel’s crazy but it gives him license to say things, without the obsession with looking “presidential” which, by the way, I hate hearing about.

  11. All I needed to know I learned from the cliff notes
