California was ablaze
And Cheney was in a daze
But I do not blame him,
Rather, I take to task CNN
They’ve worn this one out
Just like all the rest
Katrina, Anna Nicole, troops without bullet proof vests.
Wolf Blitzer. Cooper, and Sanjay Gupta.
Quite banal, the onion’s already spoofed you.
But I do not blame them.
Because they wouldn’t be there,
If someone wasn’t watching.
You tune in, day after day.
You can’t look away.
Hanging on every word the Coulters, Hannitys, and Rushs’ say.
Josh Marshell, Duncan, neigh even Crooks and Lairs.
Ever vigilant, preaching to the choir.
And while Cheney rests his tired eyes,
So do you and I.
