Diva- it makes sense, as I saw today that Obama is making deals with Richardson too, to "get his supporters vote"...

Who knows what Obama promised Kucinich for his backing? To some, that's just smart politickin' - like Obama calling people at Clinton events and star-striking them into supporting him. And today, even though making snide comments about Edwards' anger - today he mimiced it- and to great effect - They've played a clip of him pretending to be Edwards attacking big business all day today on CNBC.

To me, it's just more evidence that Obama is more about making backroom deals and saying whatever polls well to win than he is about substance. All the while he ignores his job in Congress.

Just looks like more of the same, and while I am sure I'd be susceptible to Obama's charm if I was in one of his crowds- I'm not. I am going to focus on the policies and the actions of Obama, not how great he looks while speechifying...

In reality, Dennis Kuchinich is my guy. But clearly he's not going to get the nomination. I love Michael Moore's letter, I also got it as I subscribe to his thing. He's right on the money. Obama and Clinton are terrible disappointments, and Edwards would be my second choice after Kuchinich. So why did Dennis tell his supporters to make Obama their second choice? It makes no sense to me. Polls indicate that Obama can win the Presidency, but what upsets me to my core is that we no longer care about real issues as a nation. We care only about the superficialities and Obama is quite charismatic.

When I make statements like "What difference will it make who is elected", I really mean it. If Obama, or Clinton, is elected, what difference will it make? They will not make the changes necessary to get this nation back on track. No viable health plan, more war, more rising gasoline prices. I despair over what is happening in our nation. So for me, I need to focus on what's local, what I can do locally for the greater good.
