Lovely as the new theme was, I took a major hit in stats. Something about the page structure. Anyways I’ll be reskinning this one until I find time to do my dream project…building a template from the floor up. Meanwhile check out my latest at Guys from Area 51.

If building traffic is your concern, perhaps you should take a page from the progressives you link to and claim to be another oppressed victim of the patriarchy and whine incessantly about it. Seems to work for them.

It’s not so much the amount of traffic as it is the mechanics of it all. I really would like to build a template that one day people might like to use. Progressive/Liberal/Libertarian/Conservative alike.
Frederick: I understand where you’re coming from. If I’m not happy with my template then I don’t feel like blogging as much. The template is the workspace that frames my online creations – it must be a visual environment that is conducive to creating. Oops, my bad – blogging is not art, it’s about ramming precepts and norms down people’s throats. I’m glad you kept the power plant image up top – I love the faded orange sunset color scheme.
Lew: Illegal occupation, torture, rendition, war profiteering, poverty, lack of health care, racism, economic equality, environmental degradation, etc…none of these matter whilst the male liberal blogger aristocracy is using misogynist frames to describe Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

I actually liked the template despite having to repeatedly squint. But my bad eyesight isn’t your problem. I just need to buy some better glasses with my stimulus check.
