Yes, at Shipton Kaserne, outside of Ansbach, which itself was around 40km from Nuremberg.

Beautiful, Frederick. And oh so evocative of memories from about 30 years ago. I spent a summer teaching Renaissance music in Graz, Austria, occasionally touring with a performing group. Your picture reminds me of some of the towns I saw. Thanks!
