Spring got it’s official kick off with a hike up the Gorge trail today. It was a pleasant 64 degrees and sunny. No rain for the first time in week or two. But man was I dehydrated. Not hung over, but pretty parched.
Band practice last night. It was our second go at it and things are beginning to look promising. There are still major issues; I’m handling singing duties, which is better than playing bass, but I look forward to playing lead guitar. I’m not sure if there is any videographic evidence I’d want to post yet. Maybe after next weeks rehearsal.
Rough Set List:
- Burden in my Hand – Audioslave (the chorus kills my voice, I’m not a singer).
- Breed – Nirvana (Our most solid song, I.E. the only one we can play all the way through and if it weren’t for my singing it’d sound just like the album.
- Let Down – Radiohead (Oddball of the set, I love the song and am trying to get the others to see my grungy alternate version I have in my head).
- Crackerman – Stone Temple Pilots (We’re getting to it).

Sounds like a good set list
As does the shameless commerce for the Grameen Bank. If my powers of logic are correct, then you will now also win a nobel prize if you can handle the chorus of Burden in my hand
What? No Floyd in the set list? (Sorry. I’ll stop now. Like the WYWH parody at the top)
Roamin’ roamin’ roam
Get away, gotta get away
