Recalculations
That last post couldn’t have been more untimely. Or was it? Irrational exuberance on Obama’s prospects to take the Presidency based on current polling post-Wall St. meltdown is a sign of not having learned anything from the last 8 years. One month is plenty of time for mass amnesia, the kind that a convenient foreign policy development usually brings to the mainstream media and eventually filtering down to the public. It’s more than enough time for McCain and House Republicans to hang this pending bailout around Democrats necks. I can’t believe people are falling for this. Nancy, Harry, Barrack, you’ve been played.

Great series and you are right. They are being played but I sense that they are beginning to realize this is a repeat of the Patriot Act fiasco and the AUMF fiasco and FISA fiasco. At least they are being forced to go back to the drawing board and it appears they aren’t going to do anything without getting the Rethugs to agree it in writing.

I’m fairly certain I’ve seen this scene in the past:
Strongbow could also brawl with the best of them, especially once his fiery temper had been ignited. If the Chief started his War Dance, the tens of thousands of fans in attendance knew the end was near, because no one could (or, perhaps more appropriately, was allowed to) stop him once Strongbow began circling his opponent with his “ancient tribal dance.” (www.wrestlingmuseum.com).
Surely, Vince McMahon and Lou Albano are writing the script for the Republicrats.
Oh, the good old days when wrestling was real!
