My father-in-law, who does not read this blog, sent me yet another one of those “Differences Between Liberals And Conservatives” pieces of e-mail bullshit. And today is some sort of national tea-bagging day among conservatives and so called patriots. Meanwhile, the the liberals and proggels are reacting to it in their usual fashion..

When you’re dealing with a life threatening illness, all of this looks really, really petty. I find it more difficult each day to summon “my give a shit about politics, this country and the state of the world.” It’s all a bunch of screeching monkeys throwing fistfuls of feces at each other while claiming the moral high ground. Have at it…just don’t involve me. I have more important concerns.

I’m to the point where the only reason I post anything anywhere is when I photoshop up something i think is to good not to share. I hope I can make someone laugh, maybe call their wife or husband over to the computer and both point and chuckle. Politics? Democracy? The concept of the modern state? Left and Right, etc, etc…
