Dog Days

The berries are long gone. The longest stretch we’ve managed without rain has been three days in a row. I think 89 has been the high, but there have been very few days at all above 80. Not a very spectacular summer at all.

Out here on the Left Coast, our normal foggy, cold, windy, nasty weather has been replaced by sunny mild…almost…dare I even say it…summer-like weather. To be sure we’re still getting some of the foggy stuff, but on the whole global warming has been really good for us.
