A question, “Are Democrats so cowed by Republican attacks on Obama’s foreign policy that they’re unwilling to defend him?” Well my Dirty Hippies, Contrarians, Libertarians, Anarchists, what say you? How many Democrats voted against the various Homeland Security and Defense appropriations bills during the Bush years again? Sounds like someone is looking for backbone where there is none to be found.

Let me explicitly assert that the status quo is by far better then the currently proposed health insurance industry give away. Why? Because with the individual mandate we are betting with something we will never have the chance to win back, a freedom that once given away is for all intents and purposes gone forever in exchange for your $100 billion per year social welfare program. Here is a question for Mr. Silver, is leeching still a trusted medical procedure? Why under any circumstances would an industry that pushes it’s profit margins at the expense of patients deserve another dime of taxpayer dollars? I’m waiting for Nate’s logical, factual, and chart filled defense of the tobacco industry before the New Year.

Democrats nix putting pre-vote health bill online
WASHINGTON — Senate Finance Committee Democrats have rejected a GOP amendment that would have required a health overhaul bill to be available online for 72 hours before the committee votes.

Republicans argued that transparency is an Obama administration goal. They also noted that their constituents are demanding that they read bills before voting.

Democrats said it was a delay tactic that could have postponed a vote for weeks.

The expansion of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure (CARD) Act of 2009, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, there is no sunlight here.

Protesters who attended Saturday’s Tea Party rally in Washington found a new reason to be upset: Apparently they are unhappy with the level of service provided by the subway system.

Rep. Kevin Brady called for a government investigation into whether the government-run subway system adequately prepared for this weekend’s rally to protest government spending and government services.

Seriously.

The Texas Republican on Wednesday released a letter he sent to Washington’s Metro system complaining that the taxpayer-funded subway system was unable to properly transport protesters to the rally to protest government spending and expansion.

The amazing part is that these are the mental midgets the Obama Administration, Congressional Democrats, Liberals, Progressives, and false socialist conservative petite bourgeoisie everywhere are losing to in the marketplace of ideas.
